Overview
Campaign Toolkit is an independent, nonpartisan educational platform that helps people understand the process of running for office and manage their campaigns. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information You Provide
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you build a campaign, we store the campaign details, tasks, contacts, contributions, expenses, volunteers, events, petitions, and documents you enter. Assessment answers and reports are stored to your account.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide the campaign management tools, generate personalized checklists and timelines, publish nonpartisan educational content, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Storage & Security
Your campaign data is stored securely and is associated with your account. Row-level access controls limit campaign records to the account that created them (and platform administrators for support and abuse prevention).
Deleting Your Data
You can delete your campaign data and account at any time from the Settings page in the app. Selecting Delete Account removes your campaign records and signs you out.
Cookies & Analytics
We use standard cookies to maintain your session and basic analytics to understand how the platform is used. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
Children's Privacy
The platform is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
